We had a great time. Everything went smoothly. Our tour director was very accomodating, and made every effort to keep everyone happy. He was so patient. Our trip was fabulous! Although we did not get to go to Pearl Harbor we really loved all of it. Oahu is too crowded for my taste, but our hotel was great. Polynesian Cultural Center was terrific. We had a great guide and the girls really loved it! Kauai was truly amazing in so many ways. The Grand Hyatt Kauai was over the top and they did give us an upgrade. Yea!! Our raft expedition was just so so the weather/waves kept us from going into caves, but seeing whales at a distance made up for it. One of our favorite things was the zip-line safari. I would highly recommend this company as well as that excursion, it has it all! Thank you so much for your patience and diligence in helping me plan what will go down as a vacation of a lifetime. Other than the plane mishap at the start the trip was great. The Poly Cultural Center is a must for 1st timers to Hawaii. Totally great immersion into the islands. The volcanoes did not have flowing lava but were still very impressive, we went back at night to see Kilauea glowing.

This was one of our best trips to Maui! Because we missed the Spring break crowds, the resort was very relaxing. We barely left the pool!
As Kevin mentioned, we had a chance to enjoy dinner at the Four Seasons. The prix fixe menu made it worth the walk over, but the Fairmont Kea Lani seems to be the right place for us.
Thanks so much for the amenty basket...the treats and drinks were great, and we enjoyed them in the room as well as down by the pool.
We can't wait to return!

I am sure Kim will have comments, but here are mine. Got back late last night. We had a fantastic time. We spent a lot of time at the pool and the beach. Christopher and I did six ocean scuba dives and completed our course work to be certified for open water scuba diving. It was a great bonding experience that I for one won't forget. The scuba instructor, Alex, remembered Christopher from our earlier visits and diving instruction. Courtney even scuba dived in the pool, which is what Christopher first did three years ago. Alex gave both Christopher and Courtney special attention. The hotel was only about 30% occupied this week. Apparently they were at 90%+ occupancy for the last several weeks, so it was a good week to be at the Kea Lani. Due to the low occupancy they had scheduled maintenance / construction on one side of the hotel, and so we got free boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, and reduced cabana prices those days. Breakfast service was moved to the high-end restaurant seating that faces the ocean as well, which provided fantastic views. We walked next door to the Four Seasons to have dinner two of the nights at the Duo restaurant. They had a $49 prixe fix menu, which was very tasty. They also had a great wine list. It was fun to spend a few minutes watching the crowd at the Four Seasons, then retire back to the relaxed family oriented Fairmont. On most other nights we had room service with table cloth service on our 5th floor ocean view balcony. I was able to get a half-bottle of wine, the kids got good food a good prices, and Kim and I relaxed while watching the sunset. The kids fell asleep early every night. We got president's club discounts on hotel services, including free Wi-Fi. Couple notes: At Hertz, upon arrival, the counter folks went through a long list of up-sell items. I ended up taking an upgrade to a Chevy Traverse ($70 for the week), which did allow me to switch to Gold service and go to the gold lot. Kim's license info and all my usual default options were then included, and I get credit on my account and the car was in good shape. I then heard them tell others they didn't have any of the minivans available immediately as they were still being cleaned. They seemed busy or disorganized. It took over 30 minutes just to get out of the Hertz parking lot because they had one guy checking all cars and asking if you wanted to the fuel option at the exit. They then sent a women to help. Without her, it would have taken over an hour. Kim and the kids were hanging at the airport Starbucks during this time, wondering what was taking me so long. During the long up-sell spiel, finding my gold card, and being interrupted by folks not happy with their cars, I somehow forgot about my work laptop bag (I needed to some work during the week and call in to a meeting). I left it sitting next to the PH check-in counter. Luckily, they sent someone out to give it to me at my park spot. I was glad they did that. It would have been a disaster otherwise. That they did this, and didn't take anything from my bag, trumps all other concerns that I might have about delays. The Kea Lani is now doing a much better job accounting for the Virtuoso included breakfast and extra kids meals. They correctly subtracted our credit, and proved a way to indicate extra gratuity for the kid's meals. They have renovated the rooms and pool area, but are still in-process on the hallways and other public areas. I guess the hotel is 20 years old this year. We took advantage of the luxury SUV with driver service several times, leaving our car parked. We didn't move the car for four days. Christopher and I needed to stay below 1000ft, so we didn't go to the top of Haleakala. The United economy plus seats were good. Movie and television shows each way. We spent $100 on luggage check-in, each way. On departure SFO security let us use a family check line, which only took 10 minutes. The Red Carpet club had complimentary Wi-Fi and food. At the Maui airport there was a displaying regarding the long effort it took to get Hawaii statehood, almost 60 years. I noticed United Airlines was part of the effort, with pictures from 1950 showing the old United logo behind a group pushing for statehood. Very interesting display. The Kihei Catholic church had a nice Easter Vigil Mass that started with a bonfire outside. The winds were high, so they needed to be careful. They had outdoor chairs set up for overflow seating for the next day. Kea Lani had an Easter egg hunt for kids up to 11. The Kea Lani was very relaxing, and the service excellent. Kim and I got to take long walks by the ocean. Courtney met other girls to play with at the pool and beach. What's up with crazy European tourists? Saw some interesting things on the trip. Aloha Patricia...We had a memorable vacation in Kauai! Every day there was a weather forecast for a storm, but it never materialized. My husband visits many resorts due to his business trips and he commented that St. Regis Princeville was impeccable in service, accommodations as well as location. We noticed how professional and courteous the whole staff was during our stay. Princeville was quiet, relaxing with the beauty of Hanalei bay and amazing food. We renewed our vows on the beach and had a private dinner on the beach as well. The Grand Hyatt was a contrast to Princeville...not as personalized, more crowded and definitely geared towards the family travel. The resort was fun in other ways; the pools are lovely, lots of shopping and not too far from other attractions. We had the standard room and decided we were willing to pay for an upgrade. I requested an upgrade twice and the reservation desk seem irritated (I am a polite person). Later, I thought maybe they didn't realize we were willing to pay the difference. The Grand Hyatt is not as quiet and often you can easily hear people in rooms next door. Overall, there is a mark difference in the staff between St. Regis and Grand Hyatt....my husband noticed this as well. Perhaps St. Regis has an extensive training program. I would still return to the Grand Hyatt, but definitely request a major upgrade in room. We decided on our next trip we will stay longer at Princeville. The north shore is charming and we love the town in Hanalei, the beaches and bontanical gardens. We went all out on this trip and I'm still receiving deliveries of all the goodies we purchased! We got back Sunday night and are settled back to work now. We had a blast on the trip. Honolulu was definitely more cosmo and busy, but was a fun city. We both loved Maui since it was more laid back and quiet. The weather and activities there kept us busy alright.

Hi Trish! It was a wonderful trip. The St. Regis Princeville is a very nice hotel, but I still prefer the Grand Hyatt in Poipu for the Hawaiian ambience. Princeville is stodgy and well, the guests all looked bored (even the ones with Mai Tais). But we got upgraded to an oceanfront ground floor room so the location was ideal, it was just steps from the lanai to the keiki pool and beach. We all really enjoyed the Kahala on Oahu, once we arrived we never left the resort except to attend the party for a few hours on Sunday! It is a very family friendly resort, especially with the dolphin lagoon to look at every day. They gave us a full sized crib in the room and there was a little keiki pool plus a nice calm beach that wasn't crowded at all. The flights all went smoothly - I will say don't be afraid to have Children's Benadryl on hand when your daughter gets older, it is a lifesaver on long flights with a restless toddler. That and a portable DVD player. This is coming from a mother who avoids OTC medications and forbids television. When you are trapped on a 777 flying over the Pacific, all the usual parental guidelines go out the window! Pipecleaners and Fruit Loops were also a good distraction (it takes some good hand/eye coordination for them to thread), as was the travel Aqua Doodle. Also - note to self - always bring your own carseat (it's a pain, but when I saw the options at the rental car office in Kauai, I was soooo glad we had lugged ours), and a good umbrella stroller (we almost lost ours when we left it at the Oahu Hertz office, that would have been the only disaster but luckily we returned and found it). Our trip was wonderful. It was everything we expected. Our tour guide, Mike Murakami, was the best. We often commented that he never slept. He was there when anyone left on a tour and when we returned. He had everything planned down to the last detail. The tours that were included in our package were great and your list of opptional tours help us choose a few extra adventures. Our only complate was the air line. It was a very long flight and haveing to travel to Atlanta and then back track, made it even longer. On the return trip, the airplane was very cramped. No leg room at all. They did not even have and blankets or pillows on the Red Eye flight. The 757 is not a comfortable airplane. Next time will be checking our first class. We will diffentally be recommending Travelwizard.com to anyone looking for travel and tour information and hopefully, be traveling with you again. Thanks for all you help and advise. Sorry, I've been meaning to write you since we got back, but things have just been a bit loony. Our trip was just perfect...it was everything we wanted. So glad we choose Kauai, and oh my goodness, the Koa Kea!!! Everyone there was beyond wonderful and sweet. Mike and I will definately stay there again when we go back to Kauai. The Koa Kea was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. The location was great - a small gem amidst all the bigger and grander places that allowed us to come back to peace and quiet. We really felt special there. The morning we left, we had an hour converation with the GM over coffee! Such a nice man. The whole staff was incredible! Room was sooo comfy. So glad we had the rental car, too. Over the course of 9 days, we really got to go all over the island and were able to truly appreciate it. Hiking, snorkeling, surfing, boating, swimming, shopping, eating, and relaxing... I want to go back!!! Thank you so much for taking care of us. After doing so much research on my own and being skeptical about how to ultimately book our honeymoon, I felt very secure in you and your agency. That security was priceless. We are back from Hawaii...and had a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time and actually cried when it was time to leave....I can admit that to you!!!...but not everyone.
The bellman from the Fairmont Kea Lani came to the door to bring our luggage down and after his second knock I knew I couldn’t keep him waiting any longer so I opened the door with tears streaming down my face…he looks at me, then looks at Susan crying and thinks we are having an argument and says he will come back later so I explained why we were crying. After he loaded the car, he brought us water, some beads and hugged both of us…I think he was moved by our emotions as well.
I have been sad to see vacations come to an end before, but never one that led me to tears. Hawaii is a very, very special place.
As soon as I get unburied from a desk with piles and piles, I will download our pictures and send you what the Grand Hyatt room looked like.

Thank you so much for booking such a wonderful vacation to Maui for my husband and me. We had such a great time and ended up staying an extra night in the same room with the same rate! It seems like all I can think about now is getting back to the south pacific as soon as possible. I am very interested in Bora Bora. I am particularly interested in staying in an overwater bungalow. It will be a while before we are able to take another vacation, but I definitely want to keep you in mind since you were able to put together such a great Maui vacation package.

When we got to Hawaii, the driver was already there holding a sign with my name on it and waiting for us to arrive. Our private transportation and accommodations were all set up and ready for us to arrive which was a huge help and relief on that rather hectic day. Dear Patricia,
Kimberly and I are just back today from a wonderful vacation. The Hyatt was very nice. Our room had a great view of the Pacific and Lanai. We sat out on the balcony watching the sun set over Lanai and it was quite romantic, especially with a bottle of Champaign. Breakfasts were a very good deal. The only downside was the size of the bath and shower area but I believe that is most likely due to the age of the facility which itself was being maintained quite well. We enjoyed a very good dinner at Cascades, but never tried the Sonz restaurant for dinner. We did go to the luau at the Westin. Its a great venue because the backdrop is the Pacific and there are individual tables..a plus versus the row type seating at some of the other luaus. We went ziplining through Skyline Eco Adventures in Kaanapali. Really entertaining guides and lots of fun and laughs. Finally, I wanted to mention David Paul's restaurant in Lahaina. Evidently its new but it was the best meal we had and we highly recommend it. It is next to the Warren and Annabell show that we saw. Even though Warren wasn't there, the two subs were extremely entertaining. Again, Kim and I would highly recommend the show and the appetirzers that are offered for an up charge. All in all another fantastic vacation and thank you for your once again superior service as everything when off without a hitch.

Just wanted to let you know that we are home from our Hawaiian adventure and we had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect and our family vacation was a huge success. The hotel was extremely nice and our rooms were great and the amenities and staff were great. They said they are going to be doing some renovations for the next year so that will be good. Just for your own information the gym there is really small in case you have clients who want something more. It did have all the equipment it was just small
and during the crowded week sometimes you had to wait. It didn't really effect me but my husband commented on that. Everything else about the hotel was great. The location, the pools, the beach all wonderful.

Thanks for checking in. The Sheraton Keauhou was beautiful.
I was disappointed at the Lahaina Shores because I felt the hotel didn’t tell the “whole truth” about their renovations. They indicated on the internet that they were renovating the pool area which was acceptable to me when I chose them. Upon check in, they asked, “Did you know we are renovating?” So I said yes, thinking they meant the pool which should be an outside area, but it was more than that.
The location of Lahaina Shores itself was great. It was very convenient and the condo itself was clean. I kept thinking I should have taken Lidia’s recommendation on where to stay. Do you remember which one you first recommended to us?
Thank you very much for the handy tote bag. It was a much appreciated thoughtful gift. I made use of it on the flight home! You made our trip extremely stress free, especially the coordination with the rental cars. The views from the rooms you chose for us (upper level garden view) were absolutely gorgeous.

We had no complaints about the accommodations except one minor thing. I know we upgraded our condo so that we wouldn't be located on the road and unfortunately our unit was. We realized it on our 2nd day and didn't want to deal with the hassle of relocating. And actually the road noise wasn’t that bad. However, I know we paid extra to upgrade to a different location, is there any way we can get that money back? I have a map we received from the front desk highlighting our unit. On another note, both our families would like to go to Mexico in June. We are looking for somewhere all inclusive, a kid friendly pool, and something with 4 bdrms. Either Playa or the Riviera interested us. Again, thank you for everything, the vacation was a great surprise for our friend. Just let me know about the refund. I am not complaining about anything, would just like to get the xtra we paid refunded. Let me know what you find out about a vacation to Mexico.

Thank you Travelwizard.com for an exceptional honeymoon vacation! We honeymooned in Maui and Lidia at Travelwizard.com suggested the best hotel for what we wanted. The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa was a beautiful property with a great staff on Kaanapali Beach at Black Rock. Travelwizard.com got us a great price which included a buffet breakfast and convertible rental car. Lidia called our hotel a week before we were due to arrive and got us a complimentary upgrade to an Ocean Front Room! It was a perfect honeymoon and will be using Travelwizard.com again and again.

We had a great vacation in Kauai. All the arrangements went off without a hitch. The Kiahuna Plantation is a nice, comfortable resort. The condo you arranged for us (unit 317 royal garden view) was well maintained, clean, and comfortable and quite. The kitchenette had all modern appliances and was well equipped with all the utensils and stuff you would need in a kitchen. The bathroom was also very up to date with deep tub, nice tile, nice toilet, double sinks in separate room (from tub and toilet). The view of the garden was very pretty and we could actually see the ocean from the back of our balcony. The walk to the beach was only a minute or so and we really liked this beach. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the bigger waves. It was actually fun getting knocked over by some of them. We would definitely stay in this unit again. Being on the third floor was nice because we did avoid a lot of
the foot traffic noise on the lower floors. We didn't mind climbing the stairs, but for someone who had problems with stairs, there was no elevator. You definitely don't want to be in the units next to the road in front of the property due to the noise.
The one thing that took some getting used to was the open windows with shutters. The first couple of nights we could here the outside noises (especially the chickens)and coupled with the time change we had a hard time sleeping. Robin bought some ear plugs and the rest of the nights were o.k.
As far as activities, we enjoyed our tour (by zodiac boat) of the Na Pali coast the best. The smaller zodiac boat was very adventurous, which we like, and the scenery was beautiful. We got to snorkel while on this tour and that was a lot of fun. I will always remember holding my 11 year olds hand while snorkeling over the coral reef and thinking life couldn't get much better than this. I would highly recommend any type of hike in or around the Waimea Canyon or any of the hikes to the numerous waterfalls on the island. Many of the hikes we took were strenuous, rugged, and often muddy, but we had a blast doing them.

We had a fantastic time. The condo was perfect. We ate outside on the sliding glass door and had the best view and sunsets. The Molakini snorkeling trip was good, but the weather wasn't the best (a little blown out but who can predict the weather?). The Luau was superb. The food was excellent as was the show. We relaxed on the beach and did a ton of snorkeling on all the near by bays. Our favorite was Honokeana Cove. There a ton of turtles and the fish are beautiful. It was just outside our sliding glass door which made it all the better. We took advantage of the BBQ and grilled up Mahi Mahi two nights. Douglas and I went deep sea fishing and caught the fish. These are great fish to catch. The flavor was better than any restaurant. Next time, we will fish earlier in the week so we will have more Mahi Mahi meals.
We are already planning for our next excursions.
We can't wait to go again. You did a great job booking the travel and your suggestions saved us a lot of research time.

We had a blast. One of the most incredible experiences of our life. I'm not sure there's much more you all could of offered. The flight was on time, the taxi was prepared for our arrival and departure, the hotel accommodated us well, and the island and people were beautiful. Luckily (for us anyway), the economy hurt travel so much this summer, there was hardly anyone on the island. We were free to do as we wished the entire time without any crowds.

We so enjoyed our trip, we were all talking about not coming back. My kids now want to work in Hawaii. The Princess Kaiulani was wonderful but the internet printer took 20.00 from my daughter, she was trying to print something. They told her that they are a separate company from them, but otherwise it was great. The Poipu beach was great also, even though we didn't have air conditioning, the trade winds helped a lot. But, we had a wonderful time and the Princess Kaiulani was great and also the condo. Thank you also for booking those trips for us and the tours we took, they were all good too. My daughter especially loved the snorkeling since she had a water camera. Another thing about the condo, my daughter, Heather, lost her camera the first day we were there, so we left a number at the front desk and at a restaurant we had gone to. Well, to my surprise and to all of us ESPECIALLY HEATHER, a local travel agent had found it and had brought it to the front desk. She was so happy to get that camera back, but wasn't able to meet the man who brought it in. We have the name and she will be sending him something for that. It taught her a valuable lesson about finding other people's property and turning it in. Thank you again for everything, my husband and I are talking about going back in 4 years, (he will be retiring then). I will certainly contact you. Thank you again so much....

I just wanted to say we had a absolutely fabulous time at the Hyatt Waikiki! We were upgraded from a partial ocean view to a deluxe view and they gave us connecting rooms. The breakfast buffet was everything and more and we are glad that you recommended it to us. The activities did come out cheaper because we went through the military but I just wanted to say thank you again for all your help and patience with us. We went to Pearl Harbour, Poly. Culture tour, submarine tour, pailsailing and did a sunset dinner cruise. Love the card and the chocolates!!

We had a wonderful time in Kauai!!! Everything went very smoothly. Irene really enjoyed the trip as well. We took her to the luau at the Sheraton next door from where we were staying. It was really fun and the food was great. I especially liked that it was outside by the ocean.
The weather was in the high 70's, perfect for swimming in the ocean and laying on the beach. All of us loved the condo at Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation! It had a great ocean view. We prepared most of our own meals, so that saved us quite a bit of money.
Thank you again, Lidia, for all of your help with the planning of our trip. I will keep you mind when we plan our next trip to Hawaii. I would go back to Kauai again or Maui. Those islands are our favorites. Didn't care much for the big island; it's not very pretty and not much to do there except the volcano park. We haven't been to Oahu yet, but there it is quite crowded. Would love to see Pearl Harbor though.

Our honeymoon was fantastic! 12 days in Hawaii seemed like more than enough time to unwind, yet when we left we convinced ourselves that 12 days wasn't enough!
We were extremely pleased with the Sheraton Maui. Thank you so much for recommending that resort! Everything was just wonderful: the staff, amenities, location, room, services, you name it. PERFECT! It was very hard leaving...although we were hopping to Oahu next. The Sheraton Maui made a very positive and lasting impression on us....we even have plans in mind to celebrate our 5 year anniversary there with friends and family! We couldn't have asked for anything more at this resort.

"Fabulous" sums up the service experience I had with Lydia Fiandeiro and Travel Wizard!
When first scheduling our trip to Hawaii (the Big Island and Kauai), Lydia worked with me to keep our trip within our budget, yet still provided beautiful accommodations and fun excursions. We had a few flight changes between the time we booked the trip until we flew out, and Lydia promptly notified me of each change, not only by forwarding the updated itinerary, but by summarizing the changes in the email. We had one incident with the hotel, but I simply called Lydia and she resolved the entire matter within a few hours.
I had unexpectedly lost my father two weeks before we left for Hawaii, so knowing Lydia was there to handle any problems gave me the time I needed to relax and be taken care of.
Travel Wizard and Lydia get an A+ from us! We have shared our great Travel Wizard experience with our friends and I look forward to working with Lydia again in the future...Alaska or bust!

We enjoyed the Outrigger Reef very much but I would have to say the Westin was out of this world! We couldn't get over it! To add to our enjoyment, we ran into Ozzy Osborn and family, Jack Black and family, and as well as Kanye West (recording his new album there). There were wild dolphins and green sea turtles that visit the island year round...we actually swam with them during our kayaking tour.

Thanks Patricia. Appreciate your well-wishes. Ron, Benny (he's the kid) and I had a lovely time in Maui and we appreciate your help in making it happen. The Grand Wailea was unbelievable! Benny loved the pool and I loved, loved the spa. We weren't able to check in early, but we did get a room upgrade - to a 9th floor room with an ocean view. It was amazing. The condo was also a bit of an upgrade. We rented a 1BR, and got a 2BR/2BA with a den on the top floor overlooking the golf course! The extra space was really nice, and it was quiet (there were people below us only one night). The unit was a bit "used " shall we say. In need of some deep cleaning and updating. Other than that, and the fact that there were no cooking ingredients (like olive oil, seasonings, etc.) it was perfect. When we rented in this complex a few years ago, the unit we rented was through VRBO - so it really showed pride of ownership, as well as a fully-equpped kitchen. Not having any oil, seasonings, condiments, tin foil etc made it hard to cook. But I did manage two dinners, and we always had breakfast in the condo before we set out. So overall I'd give the trip a 9 (not a 10 only because of the worry about the future). So thanks again for helping me celebrate my 50th in style. Take care, Lori, Ron & Benny

Hawaii was just wonderful. Both our families loved everything about the trip. The tours were all very good and the hotels were wonderful. My family and I commented many times how impressed we were with both you and the Travelwizard.com vacation. We will definitely use you again when planning our next big trip. We're thinking on planning a trip a couple of years out, but we have some ideas of where we might want to go. Some thoughts already are either Grand Canyon, or Canada, or Alaska. I will probably call you sometime in 2009 once we decide where we want to go so that you can give us ideas and help plan everything. We all loved Hawaii very much and would definitely like to return, but there are so many other wonderful places we'd like to visit first!
If you have any packages around those areas, and / or any other ideas of great places to visit, please let us know. Again, we probably won't plan anything until 2009 for a 2010 vacation.

We had the most AWESOME time! Honolulu was not the place for me but Maui.....very nice. Our transportation to the first hotel took us to the wrong place but once we got that all figured out things were great. Mai Tai's in Hawaii are wonderful too! Both hotels were great. We loved the Fairmont the best except that everything cost a fortune. We quickly filled the mini fridges with diet cokes and lunch meat and ate breakfast and lunch in the rooms. We were looking at a vacation in Hawaii which included multi island stays.

It was as if Patricia was sitting in our living room, going over our
needs and wants, finding us great rooms with fabulous rates, securing

We loved it!!!!! Everything was top notch and we did a lot while on the
island.
One thing you may want to make note of for anyone dealing with the
Fairmont Orchid. They've closed the Grill restaurant, probably for good.
Anyhow, loved the remaining restaurants. Good food, good wine list, etc.
Hertz gave us a free upgrade to a Mustang convertible. Wheeeeee! That was
fun!
Did lots of snorkeling. My wife loved when sea
turtles showed up. Said she hadn't ever had so much fun!
Another note to make somewhere. The areas of Volcanoes National Park
where you could see erupting Kilauea are closed to the public because of
dangerous gases. HOWEVER, there is a place outside of the park on the
east side where you can drive down to the sea and walk out to where you
can see the molten lava entering the ocean. This is at the very end of
highway 130, almost due south of Hilo. It's set up and monitored by the
State of Hawaii or the County, so it's completely safe and well marked.
We just got plain lucky. When we were in the park, we struck up a
conversation with some others and found out about it. Wouldn't have even
known it was available had we not run into them. We went at twilight and
so got to see it after dark, which is really cool as it glows and spikes
in the dark. Really cool. If you recommend it to anyone, tell them to be
sure to find a pair of binoculars. You're not too far away from the lava,
but the binos would really help see the magma entering the ocean.

The trip was “fantabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Construction was very unobtrusive. We love Sugar Beach, and we will definitely be going again in the future. And, because of your agency’s expertise and yourself, we will use once again Travel Wizard. Thank you for all your time. We loved our condo (PH25) and we will see if we can get it next time.

Just got back from the Menele Bay Hotel on Lanai.
Our honeymoon was wonderful! The Expedition ferry from Maui to Lana’i was painless and the water was calm. We had an amazing room at The Four Seasons with quick access to the Ocean Grill, pool, and beach! The initial disappointment we had with the SCUBA situation I called you about was rectified when we spoke with Debra Hrbacek (Assistant Chief Concierge),you and she truly saved our honeymoon with the special efforts she took to ensure we were able to dive. We managed to get a verity of diving in; 3 wonderful shore dives at the Manele-Hulopo’e Marine Life Conservation, a night dive in Barge Harbor, and boat dives at Cathedral #2, and Fish Rock. We took a couple of trips into “town” just for the ice-cream… you were SO right; my favorite was Butterfinger ;)
I’ve got pictures which I will share with you in October!

The trip was wonderful. All was great. The Alii condo was huge and very nice. The only negative was strong trade winds blowing the first 6-7 days. We spent equal time touring, on the water, and just relaxing. We highly recommend Captain Steve's Lanai snorkel tour and Valley Isle Excursions' Hana tour. Molokini is overrated. Snorkeling is great right from the beach at Black Rock and Honolua Bay.

Good morning. Thanks for the note. We had a lovely time as usual. We did get the upgraded room...actually we were given the room right next door the last visit so it was great...right on the lawn. Good weather....almost purchased one week Starwood Points membership at the Westin Villas just north of the Sheraton. It's an intersting program. Dollar Rental Car worked just fine.

The Fairmont Kea Lani was awesome! We had to call the front desk after the first night because the sleeper sofa sank in the middle (it was only being supported by 3 springs and it was supposed to have 8) and the batteries were dead in the remote control. They took care of both the problems right away. We would definitely stay there again.

Hi Patricia, I am so sorry I haven't gotten back to you! It has been a worldwind since we have returned! The honeymoon was wonderful! Each island and hotel had it's own charm and energy and we loved that! We had so much fun in Maui walking down to Whalers village- hitting Leilani's and Hula Grill...being right on the beach near black rock- it was definitely more protected and I liked that the board walk was not right in front of our hotel. We rented the little cabanas on the beach a couple of times and just had so much fun taking in the hawaiian life style! The Sheraton in Kauai was just wonderful! We loved this hotel!! Our room was gorgeous and was a stones throw from the ocean and we had a wonderful view of the sunset! We sat on our balcony every night to watch it :) This was definitely the more mellow island but we had fun driving up to the north shore, we did do the helicopter ride, which was amazing and here we just relaxed and tried to there again just take it all in! Thank you so much for all your help, we just had a wonderful time and cannot wait to plan the next hawaiian trip! I will for sure have to get some pictures over to you!!

Hi Patricia,
Yes, we are home and doing partically nothing. Hawaii was amazing we
enjoyed it so much. As always there is a story -- on the second day
there -getting ready to go off the ship to our Road to Hana excursion -- I
fell and banged myself up -- not a broken arm but a cracked elbow (did not
know it was cracked til yesterday after visit to home doctor -- ship Dr did
determine that arm was not broken)... this slowed us down in terms of
excursions for one day.. I could not use my right arm (Phil did everything!)
The cruise was very good -- calm waters always--met many interesting folks
for all over the world.
We did upgrade our Outrigger hotel room to Ocean view since we knew we would
probably be in room more that orginally expected -- enjoyed watchng the
beach "kids" waiting for that tiny wave!
Thanks so much for your working our trip!! --- in the future a trip to Alaska
in in our plans...

Hi Patricia! I think I am finally facing reality and the fact that we are home. : ( We flew into Portland, OR to 35 degree weather and snow storms!! We did not want to leave Maui...it was an amazing vacation! Everyone got lots of sun, sand and much needed relaxation. The weather was perfect and the hotel was wonderful. Having the third room for the kids was the smartest thing we did. It connected to one of the King rooms and the other King room was right next door - thanks for all the checking you did on that to make sure we were together.
Our spa/golf/kid's camp day was enjoyed by everyone...the kids ranked that day as one of their favorite! I think they enjoyed meeting some new people and the counselors were fun to hang out with for a day. Ken and Todd said the Plantation Course was beautiful and were glad they took the time to play. Of course, Missy and I wanted to stay at the spa all day - the open air relaxation room is heavenly.
The only thing any of us could complain about was the seating on the flights. For some reason we were all scattered all over the planes, even the kids. We ended up doing lots of trading with other travelers, but we still had some flights where the kids were sort of on their own. We were surprised that they would split up groups traveling together, especially with minors.
We mentioned several times while we were there how easy the trip was for us....it was so nice to know that everything was taken care of and all we had to do was show up!
Todd and Missy are celebrating their 20th Anniversary in October and we were wondering what sort of "mini" package for the four of us (long weekend, 4-5 days) to Napa Valley you could come up with. We celebrated their 15th in Lake Louise (which is when we discovered Travelwizard!) and would like to go to Wine Country this time. If you get a chance to send me some info on that sometime that would be great.
Thank you again for everything you did to make our trip to Maui such a memorable and wonderful vacation. It was the first trip that I have NOT been ready to come home from! None of us were! PS...I'm not sure if you are familiar with Trilogy Excursions out of Maui, but we went on a snorkeling cruise to Lanai with them and it was amazing! The catamaran boat was fun for us all and the crew on board treated us like royalty - food, drinks, jokes and lots of fun! I would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Maui. We saw whales, dolphins and turtles up close and personal on the trip to Lanai and enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner on the island before we sailed back, not to mention spectacular snorkeling off the beach.
